DEATHSTARS have  been confirmed as direct support to RAMMSTEIN on their upcoming European tour.

Brand new album from Belgium’s ENTHRONED, "Obsidium", is coming out on 20.03.2012 in Europe and on 10.04.2012 in the North America.

Obsidium is an incantation of new wisdom strengthened  by 19 years of controlled fury. In terms of improvement, the band has decided not to manifold their recent effort (Pentagrammaton, out in 2010), but to explore the unique Black Metal gemstone further down the line, polishing it to its grim, deep and fierce colorus.

Seeking new grounds and  holding to their twisted vision, ENTHRONED managed to combine an impressive legacy with insane vocals, speed granted energy, melody and dark yet swift background. “Obsidium" may turn out to be highly explosive for those blissfully unaware!

Rerelease of SVARTSYN’s classic debut album, entitled The True Legend, will be out on 20.03.2012 in Europe and 10.04.2012 in the North America..

The True Legend album, the one from SVARTSYN's discography that can boast with being sold out and not available for a dog's age, has been remastered in full at Clintworks Studio - a studio opened in Hamburg by Dennis Israel; an assistant engineer who previously worked with Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studio (Amon Amarth, Opeth, Paradise Lost, Katatonia). The rerelease has been partly rerecorded and equipped with a new laylout and cover drawn by US artist Chadwick St John.

In conjunction with Revolver's Golden Gods metal award ceremony, the GRAMMY Museum has announced that it will be adding a special exhibit dedicated to all things metal called Golden Gods: The History of Metal. All this despite not having a proper category at the Grammy awards. The exhibit will open on April 11 during this year's upcoming Golden Gods award show, and will continue until February of 2013.
The exhibit will teach visitors about the origins of Heavy Metal,the bands that made Heavy Metal famous and offer a look into the controversy that has surrounded the genre for the past four decades.
